Pyropuncher you're allways doing unnecessary things, for example, you didn't have to replace the dirt with wood because you wouldn't see the dirt because of the bloks you put on top of it. Also you're blaming minecraft for a lot of things that you do yourself (or you did something else that you're not aware of), for example when you put the lever at the top blok of the tunnel and the water was gone because of that, you thought you scooped it up with your bucked. It bothers me (no offense).

Paul, there's something you need to understand. Mobs in minecraft, actually move. I know you know that, but you seem so surprised when you see a skeleton or other hostiles around your place. Maybe they spawned outside of your main area and moved over there. Your entire world is not lit up.

You should expand the tunnel to the basement into 2 chambers with a pool at the bottom of one(to fall down into faster) and ladders leading to the house in the other(to climb up). Just my suggestion. Not sure if it works though. Please try it.

the outside door in your basement is the wrong way round and you should put a button instead.for your pressure plates make them out of stone so mobs wont open the door.
