Mild (English) makes a great breakfast beer, particularly if you are having bacon sausage and black pudding etc. You may find it as Brown ale, which is what it is called when bottled. It's generally a light ale (thin and low str4ength) but dark in colour and little hopping. Get the carbonation just right and its magic stuff. Heavier milds do exist but are best for later in the day, anyway, not usually available as kit beers.

@NBMonkey Thanks I like it too. I onlyy made one batch in 2010 and still have 3 12 packs. I think I will make another batch soon. I'm going to use 5lbs of honey again. I think it's my best batch so far.
