Ferrets aren't chewers - they're not rodents. I don't leave them out when I'm not home, though, just because they're so curious and they're curiousity can get them in trouble. I also worry that should a fire break out and I wasn't home a fireman would go to get them out of the cage if he had time but he's not exactly going to have time - or know to - search the closets, drawers, etc for ferrets.
Well, I knew they weren't rodents, but I still thought they chewed - they sure do like to chew my fingers! lol. Your ferrets are darling, and good idea about the fire thing. ;)
whats up w/ the dark sables being so "pray" driven?! i have 3 ferrets.. my 2 boys (one blaze, one DEW) could care less about toys, they like them, but they dont obsess, but my female (a dark sable) goes NUTS just like puck did! weird weird! well anyway, your babies are ADORABLE! and beautiful! im in love<3!!!
LOL! Funny you say that as Sassy - the itty bittle Sable biting my toes - is like that as well. Two minutes I tossed a fuzzy mouse on the ground and she was like "GAHHHHH! MUST GO HIDE IT!" - pounced on it and scuried away with it. Duncan, though, a dark sable I had a couple years ago was VERY manic with "prey" as a kit but then a lazy not so much into stealing when he got older.
Mocha is such a beautiful girl <3. And Puck is AMAZING! He WALKS when he stands upright. Omg. My ferrets will stand on their baxcj legs for like, 2 seconds and then go back down lol. Jack was hilarious when he was on Mocha's tail. He was like "Your smell...it's intoxicating..." lmao
The ferrets are so cute in how they show up to play and join the fun. I dont know much about ferrets and didnt know they were so social and playful. Mocha is such a beautiful cats, gorgeous coat and such a pretty face.
Haha I don't know what's funnier with the ferrets. Pucks head peaking out of the blankets, Jack and Pan coming to join or the ever present Sassy on the eternal quest for your feet.
Oh and of course, the ferrets are just adorable as well. Jack really loves Mocha's tail hahhaa.

Mocha looks so much like my boyfriend's cat. We aren't sure of her breed because they adopted her from the Humane Society. Sooo adorable.

When you're at home, do you let your ferrets run around the house? Just wondering. :) It just seems like wires and such would be dangerous.
