The company has recently reinitiated its in-house game development studio, and is hiring game developers.

This means they are creating yet another Dark Alliance, although it will likely be a long while from now due to low funds. It's at least good to know they are making another! :D

Last I heard, they are re-beginning Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance 3. The only setback is that the game they had licensed with, Dungeons & Dragons, removed affiliations with them. Therefore, they can't use the title of Baldur's Gate nor take the places from it.

It will be a lot different since they can't have the gameplay be any way involving Baldur's Gate and will most likely use it on a different console.

But, with hope Dark Alliance III will come out and turn out great! :D

I want to be able to return to the elfsong in DA2... T_T but it's not there when you get to that area of what was Baldurs Gate, I cant even jump onto the fountain anymore... In this DA I and my friend (if he was playing with me) would jump into the fountain then onto the fountain and start making our characters dance.

i loved these games. so many great memories as a kid playing this on co-op with my uncle. but sadly the third was canceled. But to make things better for me, i heard that they were helping make a game called oblivion, with Jeremy Soule as the composer(i love this music so much). I knew that the game was gonna be amazing, and well...oblivion is my favorite game

@gawreluck Near the end of the game you talk to a ghost who turns out to be the ghost's husband. He died with Eldritch and her soldiers in the marsh. I think she died from despair because he never returned to her.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance uses a modified Balur's gate engine for their first game. You can pretty much tell in the fighting, map and controls that it is Baldur's Gate

Sacred 2 plays a lot like Baldurs gate dark alliance, but is less linear and more open-world, also i'd avoid it on consoles if possible because the amount of skills you get is way more than the controller allows, but its still fun.
