I admire your drive to perform at such a young age, but you have a lot to learn about presentation. Luckily, performing live is the BEST way to improve so keep at it. A bit of advice.. be yourself! Patter from Amazing Jonathon may work for him but not for just anyone, especially a kid. Work on smoother transitions from one trick to another. Be kinder to your audience and study your videos on what kind of patter and tricks work best for them. I wish you all the luck to a bright future in magic :)

You have to learn that this isn't going to make you money or get people to like you. These people are very generous to have applauded at all during this lackluster show. Sure he's not great by a long shot but I saw your video's & the only thing interesting was the muscle pass vid and you were not even trying to make an interesting performance out of it. Almost like it was a joke. Not good for magic either. Also I saw some of your vids using props to help with the magic effect too. You card routines are not the most exciting either. Notice youtubers what we have here with Spartan300 is a classic example of the common youtube syndrome "Losercommentitis" in which a commenter posts disrespectful comments but then refuse to acknowledge when they have been called out by more intelligent commenters who are not intimidated by the basic name calling defense. The cure for this is to treat the infected commenter with an ample supply of porno mags & Vaseline & leave him in the basement of his parents home till the fever breaks.

Most of my show is done in sarcastic overtones, but I don't need to resort to swearing to get a laugh. If you feel you have to, then maybe it is time for new material.

The easiest laugh is the "blue" (dirty) material. Having performed in comedy clubs I can tell you that you will get more bookings if you keep away from it. Exceptionally when starting out.

Well, Stupid could also denote that it caused problems. When you use the name God or Damn you risk offending religious people. 85% of America believes in a form of a God. So the odds are higher you may offend.

I know what you mean about unplanned. I understand it, but I am just cautioning you that you may lose business if it becomes a habit. I personally try to avoid all swearing in my personal life because it may slip into a show by accident.

You're talented I would hate to see it cost.

As an entertainer myself, and the age to have kids to which I would have hired you after seeing the cussing at the end of this performance I would take your card, keep it and warn all my friends not to hire you for their kid's parties. Up until the end, I would have hired you for a party.

Knowing that Kids imitate older kids (more than adults), I would avoid you like the plague when I am looking to have someone performing around my kids. Please, do yourself a favor and don't cuss.
