Someone's 8th grade science experiment they talked about on Yahoo Answers was better: you take a RED rose, a container of plain ammonia, and hang the rose about 1/4th of an inch upside down from the ammonia, and in a couple days the rose will have turned black. And you're supposed to completely close the container so that fumes don't escape.
I definitely plan on trying this experiment myself, anybody else going to?
He is talking about actually cultivating a rose to become a specific breed/color with detailed cross pollination, natural not synthetic or artificial black roses. Can you tell what your baby looks like when still in the embryo? No... Plants need to be grown and taken care of by all genders considering humans wouldn't eat a healthy diet without plants on earth. Use your brain unless you don't have one.

the garbage bag will use to cover the white rose,and the black colored dye is for the watering of the plant..I'am not sure in the exact measure of watering of this plant..I'am too young to make this experiment,this is only my idea,I want to help you to make a balck roses..
It will be possible to make my own black rose,with this materials:a white rose plant,a black colored dye and a garbage bag..and i'll put the plant in a dark area,but not that unlighted area,,because I think if I placed the plant in unlighted area it will die..
is it possible to dye a rose black? a friend of mine did it with another type of flower thats not a rose n he got a blue one with special dye but is this truly possible to get a black one with only dying products???
