When they said only 70 were made, they were probably right about the original model from the 50s. I think the reissues are a lot less rare though. Still an awesome guitar though, and nice playing!

I have a White Penguin with Dynasonic pickups.  At bedroom level, they don't sound like '50s DeArmonds, but they get better the louder you play.
