  • Too bad there wasn't a "market" for this show, I would have loved to see it.

  • Only the ignorant and dull of heart ignore and mis understand Chesterton. Just read you dolt.

  • I'm doing my BA thesis on Chesterton:D He is sooooooo difficult to embrace (pun intended;))

  • GREAT STUFF! THANKYOU! It seems there are far more sane and happy people in the USA than back home in GKC's England.

This show should be put on here. GKC really is the most powerful antidote to despair, isn't he?

  • Wow, that was pretty amazing, I wish I could see it. Were some of those scenes from his plays, "The Surprise" and "Magic" I wonder?

  • I wish I could see it.

  • I love GKC... this looks great!

  • book by dale ahlquist, gk chesterton- the apostle of common sense, ignatius press. ewtn tv carries gk chesterton. pope pius X upon gk's death in 1936 called him a gifted defender of the faith, however and ironically british newspapers would not print the tribute because that title had been bestowed on ( the adulterous traitor) king henry the 8th by pope leo X before the king fell from the church..

  • modern emancipation has really been a new persecution of the common man. If it has emancipated anybody, it has i rather narrow ways emancipated the uncommon man. it has given an eccentric sort of liberty to some of the hobbies of the wealthy and to some of the lunacies of those who call themselves cultured. the only thing that it has forbidden is common sense, as it would have been understood by the common people.

  • Absolutely marvelous! The actors should contact Taproot Theatre in Seattle about performing here.

GKC fans will be happy to know that Cecil's 1908 biography of his brother Gilbert is back in print after almost a century. Look for G. K. Chesterton: A Criticism. The American Chesterton Society should have copies for sale by the end of the first week in September.

  • One of the greatest writers of his age.

  • Whoever made this comment a spam oughta be shot.

Chesterton is as relevant today as he had been back in his day.

  • I love Cheserton, but that Charlie Jones is flaming.

  • Love it! I hope it comes to my area (North Carolina) some day.

  • I am a member of the American Chesterton Society. And I am glad these people are getting more folks to read up on Chesterton. He is one of the greatest authors of the 20th Century, and one of the most prolific.

If you are curious to find out more about him, go to the Society's website. Since YouTube forbids linking any URLs or web addresses in the comment box, do a Google or Yahoo search on "American Chesterton Society". Thanks.

  • This looks wonderful.

  • Wonderful.Having just read the dreary sniping of Richard Dawkins it was truly refreshing to listen to your very fine portrayal of a beautiful mind.

  • I sometimes wish that all the atheists and rationalists of this day and age would meet the Christian intellectuals inclusive of Tolkien, Lewis... and Chesterton.

Though the triumvirate is gone, it is but we who are left to make a point.

  • That's wonderful! I'd be interest to see this production if it came to Atlanta.

  • Looks like an interesting production. I'm a big fan of Chesterton, and wonder how his themes might transfer to the stage.
