How cool would it be to have a projector making sidewalks look like streams full of fish and frogs all over the main streets of Boston, Toronto, New York, London, Paris, where ever?

It is just sequencing software and lights, and they could mass produce them.

They could justify the cost of doing something like this city wide when the Olympics come to their city. If Chicago gets the Olympics this would be an amazing thing to see.

They use this in a big marketplace in this town having a small pond with fish in it on the floor. Looks very sweet, you almost think it you're gonna get wet walking over it.

What amazes me most in this video is how the 2D effects almost looks as if they were 3D.

They are 3D. The images are being pre-processed to match the building's 3D surface - and probably worked on the computer pretty heavily before turned into projection.

it should cost any corporate entity thousands of dollars... it could be as simple as this guys artform. but when someone wants to have him do it on a marketing tip id say he charges anywhere from 3k-5k a night.

this shit is of the most unique cutting edge art.
