  • Great video and instructions.

  • Hi SpeedTriple- I did not repaint any plastics, I simply polished out the scratches & then used a wax( not a polish)

Regarding the polishing of forks etc, I used a chap in Grimsby called ABC Polishing- Small, friendly firm, who give great advice & post out too!- Reall helpful people. Google the name you will find them. If you have not done already, visit the xt225 forum- & let us know how you are getting on- I would love to see your bike!

  • Hi, did you re-paint any of the plastics? If so, how easy was that to do? I have a 91 Serow that I'm taking back to the frame and tidying up just like yours. Also, who do you use for polishing supplies? I don't want to use cheap kit from eBay/Halfords. And I nearly forgot - Nice job!

  • awsome job. im jealous of the rear disc :)

the xt225 is a great bike. tough too. the passenger pegs and rear handles take all the beatings on a get off.

stiffer springs + valve emulators up front and worksperformance rear shock make it a whole new machine if your looking to do some upgrades.

check out xt225.com for a good xt225 forum.

  • this music is so distracting..but the video is good!
