this is not rock and roll dancing. It is obvious they worked very hard on it but it is obvious it has been choerographed. True rock and roll is when you learn heaps of moves and choose them as you go along

This is Acrobatic rnr, the way they made it at dance schools to have competitions in. This is not the nice dance they did in the sixties, and still in sixties-loving countries like Norway.

a lot of people do not know the diffirence betwen dance and musik. the video is a good example of rock n roll dance in my opinion, but the musik they dance to is not rock n roll.

often when kids do compete in this dance, administrators chose a more modern musik to make it more fun for the young. you can dance lindy hop to modern hip hop musik, or salsa to jazz.

my point is that you have to seperate the terms of dance and musik

That's what we call "rock sauté" in France (that we could translate by rock jumped ? :D), the firt steps to dance acrobatic rock'n'roll ! My syster danced it few years (and myself choreographed rock'n'roll 6-basic steps from 2 years now).

They are really talented ! Good luck for the future and still enjoy dancing !
