No it wasen't. I'm sure they have done many live ice skating shows of Beauty and the Beast but this is from Disney's Christmas on Ice 1992. It is a christmas special that was on TV. I have a full copy if you want it.

they use a machine called a zamboni, it cleans the ice to make a smooth layer.

I like Katarina even though she's on the big side for a skater and can't jump good. On the ice she's really graceful, though.
