why? becuase they can make more power then GSR can.... 1.8L vs 2.2L.,, any thing you do to the b series you can do the same for H series and the H series will still make more hp... has anyone ever tell you this? theres no replacement for displacement... its always been this way and it all ways be...this way... i my self is doing a F22 swap into my EJ coupe
Not everything is about drag strip racing. The H22 is a good everyday driving motor when you set it, the suspension and car up right. It is not as bad as it's made out to be either. I am strongly thinking of getting one for my 93' sedan with a small nitrous shot.
its a 93 but i think i know why now i think its because when i have bought the engine it came with an automatic tranny but i have keep my manual so the ecu is from an automatic.. is that possible??
wondering if any body are interest in a brand new msd 8.5mm wire and is it black and a 4 ngk iridium 9 series racing spark plugs and is it brand new for 125.00??? pm me if interested??
not everyone can pull money out of there ass for a K20 swap buddy! dropping an H22 in a EG chassis is a wise choice... 200hp stock and drop that into a 2300lb civic and that bad boy will scoot! not to mention basic bolt ons and a good tune!
the money spent on that h22 and basic bolt ons and a tune could buy a kseries. i owned a 96 and the h22 just doesnt cut it if you are going to compete
The basis of the worlds economy(currency equivalance) is on "the shitty American dollar" I'm not a honda fan by any stretch but it doesnt take a genius to know that dollar for dollar an h22 swap isnt a poor choice... Actually one favorable thing in terms of the h22 is that some came closed deck whereas most honda engines are open deck...One of the main problems with the h series are the piston rings and landings..But then again with n.a. engines such as this,it shouldnt be a problem..props
your fucking retarded. a h22 alone costs at least 2 grand. plus the bult ons. shows how much you know. oh and Hasport makes a direst bolt in kit for the eg-to-kseries swap. learn your shit homo

DRIFTINGIN808 1 year ago
This is including installation i guess.
My JDM H22a cost me $1000
Not a hard swap to do either. you can even use your old tranny and engine mounts if its an accord or prelude.
ON THE OTHER HAND ive seen K20's go for $2400 and they make same/ slightly less power stock and the swap is alot more in depth.

You should get at least 2.5" exhaust for that.

y the hell would you put an h22a in a civic, id rather have a GSR than h22 in a civic, GSR is pretty much direct bolt-on for civics
smha95 4 years ago
because it makes 151 ft-lbs of trq. with just a header.
kyle10182 4 years ago 9
good point, im getting an h22a in the summer with DC sport headers
smha95 4 years ago
also there's no replacement for displacement, 2.2L h22, awesome, i'm doing this swap soon.
grgmys 3 years ago
price wise... the gsr is about a thousand more and about 30 more ponies out of the h22a, thats why!
