Firewire is a cable connection that was developed by apple. It is used on older digital camcorders. It is also called IEEE 1394 or i.Link. I recommend reading the wikipedia page for Firewire/IEEE 1394.

what is the better option to go for core i7 920 and nvidia gtx 260 or core i7 975 and nvidia gtx 250 i cant afford for both higher end models right now

i7 920 and gtx 260; the i7 920 can be overclocked easily to be exactly the same as the 975.

I would overclock the CPU to 975 speeds and keep the GTX 260 for better gaming performance.

The case is steel, including the handle.

The handles on the top of the case are made out of metal. The handles are bolted to the frame of the case. There only part that is plastic is the part that goes on the top (vents, etc).

Yeah, when it comes to cases... Coolermaster is my first choice. I have the Cooler Master Cosmos 1000 as well. I will have to make some videos showing off my personal PC.

k... but the grills in the side panels make for area to really personalize the case.

Yeah, I meant to show a clip of the inside of the left side panel so you could see. You can add another 200mm fan or 2 120mm fans to the left side panel. Also, you can purchase a clear side panel window as well.

No, the guy that I am building this PC for didn't want me to do any painting to the case.
