When I was little, I saw powder and Scissorhands, and I loved both movies, then I realized they are very similar .. have something I love. are my favorites.
The music as well as the movie are the most emotionally charged things I've ever seen/heard. I think they're both stunning. And all the performances were perfection!!!

Last night was the first time in 14 years that I have seen this wonderful movie. It brings back a lot of memories. Does anyone know what actually happened to Powder in the end when he gets struck by lightning. It is just like he vanished, disappeared.

@stocktonmiller110 It's based off of Albert Einstein's theory of relativity. Because Powder was so smart, his flesh was essentially energy because his neurons were moving so fast. That's why he had no hair. His flesh could not handle the speed of his incredible IQ. Albert Einstein never directly admitted that there was a God, but he concluded that something as all-intelligent as a theoretical God could not have flesh. It would be energy--a force.
