oh, thanks for that, "abciance". Now that my musical ignorance has been highlighted, I think I'll go and listen to some Bieber - maybe you'd enjoy him too, since you don't need meaningful lyrics...
Liz is brilliant, but she might as well be a dolphin, lyrics? these are mating calls for delphinidaes? get back, there's no tuna here love! Utterly fantastic though...
@justdarrenthankyou hahahah, what a stupid comment, her singing and style are influenced by mouth music and glossolalia, traditional scottish folk music which incorporates using the voice as an instrument and experimenting with textures, noises and sounds, that they themselves convey emotion as opposed to actual lyrics. I do not need lyrics to enjoy music. or to justify its existence. She has also been influenced by church music (mouth music/speaking in tongues).
@justdarrenthankyou If you want to see how she can handle lyrics, check out "Song to the Siren," Massive Attack's "Teardrop," or "All Flowers In Time Bend Towards The Sun." She could sing the Glasgow phone directory and tear your hear out.

The quality is so bad... but it only makes it better somehow. Potentially my favorite song ever.
