He got the mask (I know this is late) by reaching the 'Elite' rank in Rainbow 1.

That is all you need to get it.

You also unlock the, 'Flight Helmet', 2500xp to start with and of course the 'Ballistic Face Mask.' (Even though I already told you.)

Nad when you reach elite in first game you get Face Mask in R6V2 regardless, trust me a lot of my friends (including me) got the mask when the started.

You get the mask when you start if you have a character that was an elite in the first game. Otherwise you get everything an elite would have gotten except the mask as long as you have a multiplayer character from the first one. That how I think it is at least.

the problem with rsv2 is that if you have good connection your going to own everyone . plus you can just stick a bit of selatape on the screen where the aimer is then take out your sniper rifle and own people from no-scoping duh... i discovered that like a week after rbsv1 came out
