Hey, you're blue because your camera is not balanced for natural light. It looks blue when the natural light source (sunlight) peaks in. The camera can auto adjust to the correct light source, but in this particular set up did not correct it until you hold up the book which reflected more sunlight into the camera, causing it to balance correctly.
