Many thanks for your reply because I have always had a few questions about this disorder, but the information online is always vague with key questions I have. For instance, scientists believe that air allergens, such as pollen, are mechanisms responsible for EE. This is why more people are diagnosed with EE when pollen counts are highest. The abundance of eosinophils in the esophagus causes dysphagia, but I do not know if the problem is in the upper or lower esophagus....
@Darwinianmedicine Yes it did. It was painful, but once the pain died down and the steroids kicked in he felt better. In his case we are pretty sure its the food not environmental. Because once we took away his food, his symptoms went away and he really felt fine. Do you have or someone you know have EE or and EGID?
hey my son is 9 months old and has eosinophilic esophagitis, I am scared for him on what his life will be like, if you have any advice for me let me know from a childs point of view

Does this person have trouble swallowing in his upper or lower esophagus? This is a key distinction that many sources fail to make.
