@jt789521 yes i did see kiss on their alive 35 tour at the garden and to be honest, i wasn't that impressed. kiss has become a joke now. i wish they'd get the original lineup back for a one off show then quit for good.

This song was written for Peter's first wife Lydia. He was always gone. It began before Kiss was Kiss. Their original name was "The Strawberries" They later divorced and Peter married the coppertone girl.

I sure wish there were some vids posted from their opening night in Hartford, Connecticut. I was at that show and saw them live for the first, and perhaps the only time. It wasn't until I saw on the jumbotron that I realized it wasn't Ace playing, but it didn't matter to me. Tommy Thayer blew everyone away, and I also remembered Peter singing "Beth" to a different instrumental recording as shown here. If anybody else went to that show, PLEASE POST!! Rock On!!!

It was the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra playing the song, and if I remember correctly KISS recorded the MSO playing the instrumentals for Peter to sing along with for every show during the World Domination Tour.
