  • this looks like one of the berklee practice kits

  • @jinjin45 the drumbeat is either done with an electronic drumkit or edited-sounds, because of that it could sound like almost anything.

  • beautiful

  • THANK YOU!

  • what is the second 3/4 hihat part?

  • Odd Time Swing..... This is just a basic Jazz Waltz in 3/4. To make it sound more like a jazz waltz, you need to speed it up a little and emphasize the one but still make it flow. Like when a conductor doesn't give each beat but the downbeat of each measure. If you want better independence then you need to get "Advanced Techniques for The Modern Drummer" which was written by Chapin a long time ago. Have fun!

  • I play the drumset and I tried this... I still can't get it! Oh and also, if u r reading this, can you do the drumbeat 4 omg by usher? Thats my favorite song and I really wanna be able to play it! Thanks!

  • @lakerfan531 where is the drumbeat in that song?

  • Good stuff.

  • Great independence! Very nice:) 5

  • Very cool, but some of those would make comping very difficult with the left hand.

  • Cool
