I hope and pray that Scientist can develop a way to screen a baby at birth to determine if they will grow up to be criminals,sex offenders, etc.. Then just kill them all off. This story fascinates me. What could have happened to her? How could she be abducted and no one see? Did she know her abductor? I have no doubt that poor Brittanee is dead. I just hope and pray that one day they find her remains so her family will know what happened to her.

This poor, beautiful girl is obviously dead. She hated Myrtle Beach & couldn't wait to get home. She had a lovely mother, 2 siblings she adored and she was in love with her boyfriend. Besides, what teenage girl would ever allow herself to be separated from her precious cell phone? So sad that she died as the result of a stupid pair of shorts. Pity her friend lent them to her & then wanted them back ~ she was kidnapped on her way to return them. Girls ~ DON'T walk anywhere alone...

Another possibility is that her body is (or was) nowhere near that swamp; the killer(s) could have taken her cellphone (after killing her) and left the body in Myrtle Beach while taking her phone, and only her phone, out to the swamp, KNOWING it would "ping" off of the towers in that area, thus misleading the police in their search...I know it's not likely, but still a possibility, depending on the mentality and foresight of her abductor/killer.

My assumption was that the guys who picked her up were offering her money to pose pictures and she agreed. Then they tried to rape her but because she refused and shouted, they had to shut her up and probably strangled her to death since drunk people only do things that seem easy at the time. The fact they, the search team, had such a hard time just searching says if this is where the poor girl was left then there is no evidence to recover and the person knew the area knew this and knew they would get away with it. Human trafficking? Why would her cellphone be pinging in an undeveloped nature area if she was trafficked? Wouldn't a trafficker be more professional & discard her phone as soon as they grab her? Someone familiar with the swampy area went to Myrtle Beach that weekend knowing he'd find an easy victim among the naive teenagers vacationing there for spring break. When he found his victim, he grabbed her immediately & headed for that swamp.
