No FalsePassion, Bo did not get kicked off Idol because of pot. He does not use it and is a christian man and has a wonderful family and wants to show the type of man he is. He came in 2nd to Carrie which he is fine with. He thanks his fans and God everyday for his success.

Bo was then and still is one of the best rock voices on Idol. He remains true to what he is and loves his fans. We in turn love him and support him as much as we can. Noone will ever take Bo's place when it comes to Idol stars, he may not have won but still has loyal and devoted fans since them Me included. We love you Bo, you have stayed true to yourself!

I acknowledge that Carrie has gone on to do very well with the boost she got from winning this show, but IMHO Bo would have done at least as well or more with the same resources & push as the winner gets. He remains for me, one of the few absolute complete package AI has ever had in terms of full stage-presence, identity, talent and ready-to-roll artist. David Cook comes very close, but Bo still takes it in overall presence while on AI - he OWNED that stage every night!

@mumbalee Love Bo Bice with madness and think he was the best AI contestant ever. Still, I think Carrie was a good AI choice bc she has a good voice and was very moldable (is that a word) to whatever AI wants. (Even her country is very commercial). Bo's very distinctly him, which might be a drawback in garnering support from record labels, marketing, etc.

i can guarantee Bo could have played the guitar part if they would have let him. Also, his voice is easily as good as Henry Garza's. The only thing that's missing are the tight harmonies the other two brothers throw in there.
