The monkees had a big world tour from 86-87 and the generation gap...the girls of the 60's and the girls of the 80's LOVED them. They were the best 60's group next to the Beatles. Even Marcia Brady loved them. Thanks to Cable stations nickoledon and MTV in the cool 80's we got to see all the great returns of who was groovy in the pop's for the 60's.

I chickened out... I kicked myself for YEARS till Oct 2001 when I got the chance to meet Micky and Peter after a show at the Palace Theater in Columbus Ohio... Both were classy gentleman... I hope that they are doing well.. I still have Pool It on Vynal and on CD...

@retro80stv I did went to "Ask Peter Tork" his website and I e-mailed him and it is not cancer related. I asked him does he like acting , singing, and playing his instruments or without his acting during the Monkees series. Right now, he is on tour with his "own" band so I don't think he is the one controlling Facebook. I think it is one of his website assistant who controls Facebook and Ask Peter Tork.

@retro80stv Apparently what I read was old information. All it said was that his cancer came back. There was no year listed and it also didn't say that he had once again beaten it. :/
