hello dave. i am a necron player and i currently have 2000pts. i have. 42 warriors 1 monolith trazyn 1 overlord 1 lord 2 destroyers and 7 scarab bases oh yeah a nightbringer ( shard of the c'tan) so id want to now what i should get next? this is a legit 2000 point army. thanks for all the vidoes you provide they are funny and helpful.

Hey Dave i am considering starting a dark eldar army since they have cool fluff. However, i have heard that they are harder to play with than some of the other armies. Hey Davy boy! The hell did I just call you? Anyway, I'm entering a kind of five way free for all game. We're putting one objective in the center of the board. I play CSM, I'll be up against Necrons, Grey Knights, Orks and another CSM army. Each army is only 1000pts. My army consists of 20 PMs, a DP with wings, 2 rhinos for the PMs, and a Defiler. Is this gonna give me a good chance at winning, or are there superior ways to structure a 1000 pts CSM army for this situation? P.S. nice beard!
I've got a question for you. Are space marines like nazis in space? Everything that is different, has a different religion of is not of the same species seems to get the flamethrower -treatement. And im pretty sure blindly following a emperor, führer or some forlorn deity ever amounted to any good. And what does that make chaos? They seem to welcome anyone or anything with open arms... before they pervert and mutate their subjects, but im sure that's unintentional O.o

Hi Dave, i'm currently building a 1500pt space wolves army so far i have bjorn the fell handed in a drop pod, njal stormcaller, arjac rockfist with 4 terminators in a drop pod, 2 squads of grey hunters with a plasmagun each in rhinos, a pack of long fangs with missile launcher heavy bolter lascannon and plasma cannon, and a whirlwind with storm bolter. Hi Dave, I am new to Warhammer 40k and recently started a Blood Angels army. I bought Assault on Black Reach, and the Blood Angels Battleforce. I also bought a second Death Company set, Astorath the Grim, and 2 sanguinary priests. The army hasn't hit the field yet but I was wondering if I should have gone with Mephiston instead. He dave I got: A single battleforce of dark eldar 1 talos (rigged to count as both talos and cronos) and one bad ass archon, I how ever In my glee when I was building them I used all my special weapon options on the wyches and warriors. So aside from the Troops i need to get( more wytches and warriors). what else should I toss inthe kabal of aku? sorry Cant send you any chocolate they keep "going missing" at the boarder due to "shipping misshap" I think they are being eaten by the customs guys!

Played Orks for multiple years. About a year ago, I started playing Chaos Daemons. Most recent, I sold off my Orks (Just got tired of playing them). Now I am Playing Daemons but want to expand into Chaos Space Marines. Figures from my Daemon army that can move over is 10 Letters, 3 Spawn, Thirster, 3 Princes. Marines I already have is Predator & Chaos Lord. I know tanks & defiler is going to be required, but which direction do you think I should go on Elites, Troops and Fast attacks. Thanks.

I'll be honest - I'm still somewhat new to 40k (in gaming sense, at least), so I have no idea what "fluff" is. I'm guessing it means 40k historical stuff, or something? Sorry for being such a noob. Lol
My initial idea was that my chaos chapter just "borrowed" a Landspeeder from some Loyalist marines they fought. (Nyuk, Nyuk)
But yeah, I guess from your point of view, it'd make more sense, since I don't have any obliterators, defilers, or other chaos machines yet.
Hay dave i would like u to advise people to stop calling the ultramarines space smurfs because they have one of the strongest HQ choices in the game with dual power fists with AP3 boltars built in but other than that i really like your vids very very funy good job...........PS FOR THE EMPORER!!!!!!!!

Hey Dave ive tried to collect a 40k army for ages but had no luck i always change. dont mind the vanilla marines fluff wise but units and models bore me. think i want an army with lots of unit types that also look different, like chaos, dark & light eldar, blood angels etc so can have many variants in a massive army which is what i hope to achieve. but im just not sure. What do u think i should go with? Also do u think i should go with a newer codex?
Dave, what is your opinion on Chaos Terminators tabletop wise? i really like them looks and fluff wise and i will be putting some in my Nurgle army whether they are good or not so good because i know they aren't abismal as spawn or possessed and i like to convert them to be all corroded and Nurgly. PS, they will always give them toughness 5 and probably field a group of 7 to be fluffy. Thanks

Here's an interesting question/proposition. Knowing that Chaos Space Marines, while they have cooler stuff and are more fun, are technically still Space Marines, would it be possible to use a Space Marine-only unit in a Chaos army? Specifically, I mean regular units that, for some odd reason, aren't in Chaos Codex, like Landspeeders.

@NegCal1292 I guess it would be nice to get Land Speeders and eg. Thunderfire cannon in a Chaos army, but most of those limitations are covered by fluff as far as I know: eg. the Land Speeders STC was found AFTER the Horus Heresy. In my opinion you could bypass it by simply inventing your own SM chapter, give them Land Speeders and then "turn them to Chaos" :) It should silence fluff puritans. Greetings

I have been playing warhammer 40k for one year now, i have a chaos army and a tyranid army. In my chaos army I have a Daemon Prince, 5 terminators, 5 havocs, 5 possesed, 16 regular marines, 20 berzerkers, land raider, rhino, and a defiler.
And in my Tyranid army I have 40 Hormagaunts, 40 termagants, 8 genestealers, 6 ripper swarms, 3 warriors, hive tyrant, trygon, 2 venomthropes, and a doom of malan'tai (zoanthrope)
With your experience with Battle Reports, what else should i include?

Hey Dave, love the videos and MWG is getting me into Warhammer 40k and I am still figuring out what army to play. Thinking maybe Dark Eldar or something besides Space Marines and Tau. Anywho, I know Deffy can't be beat and his look alikes are also hard to beat as well. My question is this, would a look alike deffy have armor saves if, and only if, a unit got under it and assaulted it? Would it have armor saves below it or not, and if not, was it overlooked? I collect Imperial Guard and would like to know weather I should have lots of chimeras for mobility or should have more leman russes for firepower? I have alot of troops so they would protect the tanks and scout the area. what should I have mobility or Firepower?

to build some sort of merc unit..f.e. mix some tau, orcs and imperial guard units (which should work of course) or do i have to decide between one of the factions..if the later: which one of the three is the best for versality and armor?
I did have a wierd idea: Could they make a 40K number step calculator? A computer program that you input the army list and play the game. During the game you select the troop, then the target troop. The computer then calculates for you and lets you know the numerical amount each step what you need to roll. You'd have to with a selection screen input what happens as the game progresses (missing units, conditions, etc) but it would ease in looking at the charts as much. Too much? Meh.
LOL. I am employed in a large format printing company and we get skids of foamcore with the sheet size of 48" X 96". Oh, and the skids come in at 100 or so. I could pass on the manufacturer name if you need it. Just sayin'.

Hey dave, im new to 40k (3 months) and chose Chaos marines, iv played a quite a bit of games but cant seem to get a good tactic/list that wont collapse at the lose of and "important unit" (urghum defy, land raider, khorn berzerkers daemon prince) from a some ultra powerful once per game attack, such as orbital bombartement from those darn guys who warship a rotting corps! hello dave. i am a necron player and i currently have 2000pts. i have. 42 warriors 1 monolith trazyn 1 overlord 1 lord 2 destroyers and 7 scarab bases oh yeah a nightbringer ( shard of the c'tan) so id want to now what i should get next? this is a legit 2000 point army. thanks for all the vidoes you provide they are funny and helpful.

Hey Dave! So I'm looking to play some of the new Necrons, and was wondering how to react to my friend's Imperial Guard army when he sets up a parking lot of tanks on his side of the board. I had trouble with this when I played Eldar, and I know you put of emphasis on a lot of one unit, but is the tried and true Necron way of Necron Warriors and nothing else the best way to deal with this?

Hey Davy boy! The hell did I just call you? Anyway, I'm entering a kind of five way free for all game. We're putting one objective in the center of the board. I play CSM, I'll be up against Necrons, Grey Knights, Orks and another CSM army. Each army is only 1000pts. My army consists of 20 PMs, a DP with wings, 2 rhinos for the PMs, and a Defiler. Is this gonna give me a good chance at winning, or are there superior ways to structure a 1000 pts CSM army for this situation? P.S. nice beard!

I've got a question for you. Are space marines like nazis in space? Everything that is different, has a different religion of is not of the same species seems to get the flamethrower -treatement. And im pretty sure blindly following a emperor, führer or some forlorn deity ever amounted to any good. And what does that make chaos? Hi Dave, i'm currently building a 1500pt space wolves army so far i have bjorn the fell handed in a drop pod, njal stormcaller, arjac rockfist with 4 terminators in a drop pod, 2 squads of grey hunters with a plasmagun each in rhinos, a pack of long fangs with missile launcher heavy bolter lascannon and plasma cannon, and a whirlwind with storm bolter. Hi Dave, I am new to Warhammer 40k and recently started a Blood Angels army. I bought Assault on Black Reach, and the Blood Angels Battleforce. I also bought a second Death Company set, Astorath the Grim, and 2 sanguinary priests. The army hasn't hit the field yet but I was wondering if I should have gone with Mephiston instead. Also some Blood Angel tips would be appreciated. My girlfriend and I plan to take a road trip to the mini war gaming store sometime soon, we'll bring chocolate for you.

He dave I got: A single battleforce of dark eldar 1 talos (rigged to count as both talos and cronos) and one bad ass archon, I how ever In my glee when I was building them I used all my special weapon options on the wyches and warriors. So aside from the Troops i need to get( more wytches and warriors). what else should I toss inthe kabal of aku? sorry Cant send you any chocolate they keep "going missing" at the boarder due to "shipping misshap" I think they are being eaten by the customs guys!

Played Orks for multiple years. About a year ago, I started playing Chaos Daemons. Most recent, I sold off my Orks (Just got tired of playing them). Now I am Playing Daemons but want to expand into Chaos Space Marines. Figures from my Daemon army that can move over is 10 Letters, 3 Spawn, Thirster, 3 Princes. Marines I already have is Predator & Chaos Lord. I know tanks & defiler is going to be required, but which direction do you think I should go on Elites, Troops and Fast attacks. Thanks.

My real question to MWG is whether or not I can have a Chaos Landspeeder as a regular unit, and not be accused of cheating or something.
Why a Landspeeder? Cuz I like jeeps and cars more than bikes.

I'll be honest - I'm still somewhat new to 40k (in gaming sense, at least), so I have no idea what "fluff" is. I'm guessing it means 40k historical stuff, or something? Sorry for being such a noob. Lol
My initial idea was that my chaos chapter just "borrowed" a Landspeeder from some Loyalist marines they fought. (Nyuk, Nyuk)
But yeah, I guess from your point of view, it'd make more sense, since I don't have any obliterators, defilers, or other chaos machines yet.

Hay dave i would like u to advise people to stop calling the ultramarines space smurfs because they have one of the strongest HQ choices in the game with dual power fists with AP3 boltars built in but other than that i really like your vids very very funy good job...........PS FOR THE EMPORER!!!!!!!!

Hey dave im making a chaos undivided army i have abbaddon, a terminator lord with lightning claw, 10 terminators, 20 chaos space marines , 8 khorne berserkers , 5 possessed ,1 rhino ,10 lesser deamons , 1 deamon prince , 5 chosen marines and my defiler:filer im also constructing a squad of noise marines . Hey Dave ive tried to collect a 40k army for ages but had no luck i always change. dont mind the vanilla marines fluff wise but units and models bore me. think i want an army with lots of unit types that also look different, like chaos, dark & light eldar, blood angels etc so can have many variants in a massive army which is what i hope to achieve. but im just not sure. What do u think i should go with? Also do u think i should go with a newer codex?
PS im not new to it have played many games.

Dave, what is your opinion on Chaos Terminators tabletop wise? i really like them looks and fluff wise and i will be putting some in my Nurgle army whether they are good or not so good because i know they aren't abismal as spawn or possessed and i like to convert them to be all corroded and Nurgly. PS, they will always give them toughness 5 and probably field a group of 7 to be fluffy. Thanks

I'm thinking of getting a second defiler for my Chaos Space Marine army and I'm also considering magnetizing it. What kind and size of magnets should I use for it?
I also have an Ultramarines army and I'm considering starting a third army. I don't know if I should go with Chaos Daemons or Black Templar. Which do you think I should go with?

Here's an interesting question/proposition. Knowing that Chaos Space Marines, while they have cooler stuff and are more fun, are technically still Space Marines, would it be possible to use a Space Marine-only unit in a Chaos army? Specifically, I mean regular units that, for some odd reason, aren't in Chaos Codex, like Landspeeders.
Basically, I want to know if I can have a Chaos Landspeeder. I don't think it's fair that Chaos Marines and Space Marines hav

@NegCal1292 I guess it would be nice to get Land Speeders and eg. Thunderfire cannon in a Chaos army, but most of those limitations are covered by fluff as far as I know: eg. the Land Speeders STC was found AFTER the Horus Heresy. In my opinion you could bypass it by simply inventing your own SM chapter, give them Land Speeders and then "turn them to Chaos" :) It should silence fluff puritans. Greetings

Hey Dave,
I have been playing warhammer 40k for one year now, i have a chaos army and a tyranid army. In my chaos army I have a Daemon Prince, 5 terminators, 5 havocs, 5 possesed, 16 regular marines, 20 berzerkers, land raider, rhino, and a defiler.
And in my Tyranid army I have 40 Hormagaunts, 40 termagants, 8 genestealers, 6 ripper swarms, 3 warriors, hive tyrant, trygon, 2 venomthropes, and a doom of malan'tai (zoanthrope)
With your experience with Battle Reports, what else should i include?

Hey Dave, love the videos and MWG is getting me into Warhammer 40k and I am still figuring out what army to play. Thinking maybe Dark Eldar or something besides Space Marines and Tau. Anywho, I know Deffy can't be beat and his look alikes are also hard to beat as well. My question is this, would a look alike deffy have armor saves if, and only if, a unit got under it and assaulted it? Would it have armor saves below it or not, and if not, was it overlooked? Happy WarGameing Hunting.

i don´t know anything bout 40k wargaming..but just out of curoisity is it possible
to build some sort of merc unit..f.e. mix some tau, orcs and imperial guard units (which should work of course) or do i have to decide between one of the factions..if the later: which one of the three is the best for versality and armor?

I did have a wierd idea: Could they make a 40K number step calculator? A computer program that you input the army list and play the game. During the game you select the troop, then the target troop. The computer then calculates for you and lets you know the numerical amount each step what you need to roll. You'd have to with a selection screen input what happens as the game progresses (missing units, conditions, etc) but it would ease in looking at the charts as much. Too much? Meh.

LOL. I am employed in a large format printing company and we get skids of foamcore with the sheet size of 48" X 96". Oh, and the skids come in at 100 or so. I could pass on the manufacturer name if you need it. Just sayin'.

Hey dave, im new to 40k (3 months) and chose Chaos marines, iv played a quite a bit of games but cant seem to get a good tactic/list that wont collapse at the lose of and "important unit" (urghum defy, land raider, khorn berzerkers daemon prince) from a some ultra powerful once per game attack, such as orbital bombartement from those darn guys who warship a rotting corps! Any advise would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
