We caught the Marbles a couple times in New Orleans at the French Quarter Festival in April (before the NO Jazz Fest). The first time was at Donna's on Rampart St. the night before the festival started and the second time was when they played Preservation Hall. They are a fantastic group and really swing !

Festival even more than the big Jazz
Festival because in the FQF you get
more of the old-time Dixieland Jazz that
made New Orleans famous. I took along
a friend one year who had traveled to 148 countries and he said: "I've never been
to anyplace like this!" Don't we KNOW!

They get around! I've seen them in NYC and Amsterdam this year....missed them in NOLA though.
