Snape made it possible for harry to defeat voldemort, you think it was an accident that the security at HW was non-existent when snape took over as head master, allowing harry and everyone else to get in. he played the role of villain to keep voldemort blind. Hero=snape
If Snape hadn't asked Voldemort to spare Lily, Voldemort would not have given her the option of running, that choice is what created the magical protection over Harry. Think about it.
i have always hated snape. i couldn't imagine he was a good character.he is even better than other good guys. i was very sorry when he died. harry would have never defeated voldemort without snape's help

The reason I love J.K. Rowling's novels so much is because she has the rare ability to concieve characters with surprising depth and realism. Severus Snape is perhaps her best example of this. Snape is neither good nor evil, he simply is human. He has his flaws and he has his strengths, just like everyone else, and although he perfers to be seen as cruel and malicious, he is in fact much more caring than most people would believe. He simple shows his affections differently.
Sad, no but powerful, yes. I am so sad that Snape had died and I am going to cry when I see his death this summer when I finally like everyone else finally sees his death!
Snape's awesome! I love him so much, he's the real HERO of all the saga, and he's better than Potter... And, at least, he's more handsome than Harry too :P

@JustArdOnYT Dumbledore asked him to kill him...Dumbledore was dying anyway from a curse and he didn't want a slow, agonizing death so he asked Snape to kill him, Avada Kedavra kills instantly...while poor Snape died one of the most gruesome deaths in the entire series, plus being hated, until the very end when everyone found out he was really a hero!

I love rowling's story, but she should have been a little bit kinder to him...he deserves kindness :(
Rickman totally inhabited this character. Watching him in the role of the grim and surly Professor Snape, you would never guess that Alan Rickman had an equal gift for comedy, or that Snape is actually a hero.

I know, it's so typical that the popular kid, who can do just about everything is the main focus of the series, not Snape who had to endure all of the emotional torture throught his life and never have anything. And then JK tells us he's a terrible person...

i cried my eyes out after reading the seventh novel. i had to put it down for a few hours and get drunk just so i could finish the book. it was horribly tragic. i'm still depressed.

Severus Snape was my favourite character since book 1, I can't believe he died :( I'm working on making more Severus Video at the moment. I hope many people will remember him.
