It wasn't till Mack Brown ran after one of the refs and cried that he deserved another chance after UT completely wasted the time given to win the game. We can argue forever but like I said, it's all over now. Call Nebraska weak if you want, we will find out this year by the strength of the Big-12 (Which might as well be renamed the old "South-Waste" confrence + Oklahoma, -Arkansas) and the Huskers year. If you are correct, it won't matter. If I am correct, the Big 12 will be hurting and what's left in the North will be leaving soon. At least Nebraksa can get better recuiting now.

@johnnyreb1025 Yea, keep the Texans because that is almost all you will have between all those Texas teams. Nebraska will gain recruiting from Big 10 country. Actually, when you compare populations, Nebraska will never compare to Texas, New York or Cali. But when you look at the amount of homegrown boys we DO have, the Huskers have never looked bad. Now I admit, it might be tougher for NU to play against a team that knows how to read a scoreboard but at least it will will be fair.

@astrofrk Lets see Texas uses there own boys maybe 1 or 2 a year are out of state, but in the end we use our own, Nebraska i will admit is only team that can use there own boys as well but not as much as texas. Its going to hurt Nebraska leaving the big 12, recruiting wise. They lose the Texas and southern pipeline for the most part and the big boys in ohio and up north wont just come that easy, fortunate for you guys is you do have a good coach and program to make it.

the only reason texas is good at anything is because they can play outside all year around and not have to worry about freezing their asses off like we do in nebraska for almost half the year. thats kind of an advantage don't you think? plus your state is one of the most populated so you have a bunch of players to pick from, we don't, but saying that we're still fucking badass. GO BIG RED! 1/4 of houston's population is the pop for the whole state of nebraska. and we still compete for titles.

NU was NOT "lucky" that Texas wasn't up by 2 touchdowns, our defense played their tails off and split the Texas offensive stats in half.
Nevertheless, it was still a great game, even though we couldn't pull off the upset in the end. Can't wait for this years' game!
