@pro696153 That is a furnace(used to burn things),to make it you need cobalt stone(stone of gray colour)...............then on your crafting table, put cobblestone in a square and leave out the middle so that all spaces are filled other than the centre.

@Ironicbagel2 It's not located in a specific area,it's kinda random. you have to dig around and hope you stumble upon some iron ore.Then you take the ore and smelt it in the furnace,and you will get iron.Hope this helps.
