some of the pieces ARR has come up with ( originally ) do allow him to be categorized as a maestro , probably off late hes relying a whole lot more on technological improvements ( to say remixing is a big overstatement) to come up with ( as against create ) his songs. But his past brilliance can in no way be underplayed. Besides hes "created" music for movies like Kingdom of Heaven... etc etc which no doubt demand respect !

Agreed Roja was good because it had an Indian feel but nowadays he is not that original. What I dispute is the use of word 'Maestro'. What else is Beethoven, Tchkaivosky, Mozart et al ?
