  • Glad to see Murphy's praise here. I have read so many pro-Guinness posts. I visit County Cork at least once a year and drink Murphy's over Guinness. If Im in a Beamish pub, I will take it over Murphy's. All 3 have individual characteristics due to the ingredients and prod. methods, and we all have varying palettes, but MY preference is to the cruder, more unrefined taste of Beamish and Murphy's. Guinness still carries the name recognition, that most people stigmatize other stouts as 3rd class.

  • Yeah, Murphy's is great.

    Looks, aftertaste, I love it.

Have been away for a awhile, so I have to catch you up.

    :D

    Getting thirsty again... :/

  • i love murphy's. creamy like guiness, but sweeter. when it comes to dry draught style stouts. this is my favorite. i see the beard is changing formation. i dont think you can get a bottle of this in the states only a can. your reviews are very good. under appreicated. i use cbs for fantasy baseball (im the commisioner) but there so exspencive. so for football i go elsewhere. wheres my damn bobblehead.

  • 2:54 what was up with that tongue action? LOL

I found Murphy's to be a lot sweeter than Guinness. I like Beamish the best of the big 3 Irish stouts. Sometimes the head is the best part of these beers.

    Man you drank that fast!
