The Poe Toaster is probably not the same person. It might have been a tradition that was handed down to different members of a college fraternity or something. It's not very likely that one person is going to carry out that tradition for SIXTY YEARS. And maybe the group who did it just decided to stop or they couldn't get anyone else to do it. Or the group died.
