idk why people think this is so hard, if you pay attention, it looks as though he cut the foam to size, taped foil to one side of each piece then taped each piece together. then taped the cloth to the soft box. this is actually a really good video. it looks sturdy and well done. thanks for the vid.

Actually.... He didn't say it would be a tutorial, just a timelapse, so yeah... Also, the size of the material depend on how big softbox you like. This one's 40x37, if you want for example a 90x80 you'd need to have bigger material. Just saying.

Everything you need is here. If it's fast (& it is a bit for certain parts if you're not structurally or mechanically inclined), then pause it! The dimensions are dependent on the size you want but they retain their proportions. As far "the white material", you have a number of options & flame retardant ones at that. If you want someone to do it all for you, buy one on Amazon.

I fail to see what everyone's making a big fuss about. What? You need absolute dimensions or something? A blueprint? Just get some cardboard or styrofoam or something, cut em, cover with reflective material, tape them together and use some sort of diffusing cloth. Just find whatever works. There's more than enough information in the video description unless you're totally lacking in imagination.
