Now THAT is how you do a ****ing cover! I'm sick and tired of hearing Fred Durst and others crap out "covers" for quick cash and to fill space on their crappy CDs. Foo Fighters and Pearl Jam are more modern bands that do good covers, but most of these losers should be forced to listen to this or Young Man Blues if they're going to touch the greatness of Bo Diddley or THE WHO.
As you write under the video, the right title is -I'm a road runner- because I know another song called -road runner- quiet different by Dr Feelgood, but maybe I'm wrong ?
Moon was at his drumming peak during Quadrophenia.During those sessions,he was coming up with a new beat every 1/8 of a second,no drum machine can come up with new beats that fast, hell even a machine gun can't fire that fast!
the ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo, probably at their peak between 69-71, though a lot of people would differ. some great live stuff up until keiths death one would think, ahhh drinkeepoos me thinks
@camerooniepooniepoo what's to top? I mean, it's cool and kinda funny. Musically, it's totally incoherent and I'm sure they were just goofing off. The Zombies did a better cover of this song. Well, I won't say "better", but a more coherent rendition (maybe not quite AS rockin' though).
Rock and roll doesn't get any better than this. When I play this CD I often jump to this track. If I had to choose between Young Vic and Leeds (1970), at this point I'd have to take Young Vic.
roger sounds like robert plant at the start
