Haha dad was listening to his music one night and he said that he saw a little white thing in the living room running and he didn't know what it was, then he said he realised that one of my Gerbils had escaped from the cage nearly gave him a heart attack lol

He's dead now...he was 4 years old :( not my dad lol

if i ever get in to law making im going to make it illegal to only have one gerbil because in the wiled they are extremely social just like humans so if you only have one gerbil it will have no one to sleep with no one to eat with no one to love and no one to play with and no one to groome and dont live as long and are'nt as healthy so if you have only 1 get a nother one and dont say you cant afford it or you dont have the time because its just like taking care one gerbil

That's what I thought too, until I did a little more research... gerbils can actually be very happy without another gerbie with it. Sometimes gerbils will actually not want another gerbil to be introduced to it once it has been alone. if you give a lone gerbil enough attention, they are very happy. Some gerbils just aren't very sociable. But in some cases it's fine to have a lone gerbil. I would elaborate, but I can't since I'd go over character count, sorry.

Benny is so cute:) I have a large white rat Ive had for 3 yrs she is so sweet but has been acting all nutty lately. she chewed the end of her tail off one nite it was really gross blood every were. but it healed but why she did it I have no cluesorry I get some what random lol . cute little guy you have. Sadly I've never seen a gerbil before o.o It looks like a rat hamster (people say they look like guinea pigs but they look NOTHING LIKE THEM!!)
