Okay guys, you can diss what they did to the characters, but can't diss who they cast in the role. Ryan Reynolds is great as deadpool, and I thoroughly look forward to any other possible movies he does.
But I feel that we don't give Weapon XI a chance. For one thing I've met the guy who played him. Scott Adkins is a British actor and stunt man with five black belts, while specialising in kickboxing. He's an awesome bloke, and he did all those stunts in the film without wires, he's the coolest

The movie butchered Deadpool, but my love for him shall not diminish, no matter how bad fox may fuck him up, for I am a true Deadpool fan.
Well you guys did recall that striker was told that deadpool was not ready yet, and he said he didn't care. But that could be the reason they did this. He was Christoph Nord, Maverick (German not Korean), but after a incident with Sabertooth, had to change his name to David North, Agent Zero... in the movies, he and Wolverine hated the shit out of each other... and in the comics, they were best friends, he wasn't a ruthless prick, he was a nice guy that just ran into some shit on the way. And being super beast with guns, wasn't even his power.

well, i think i got what you meant. But, Fox's concept or not, the barakapool character as Deadpool was universal hated by the marvel fans. There were a few that liked the character, just not as Deadpool. It was despised so much that the Deadpool movie is officially going to be a reboot so they don't have to deal with it (though i bet they will make a joke about it in the movie). And yeah, his appearance was that and to hopefully drum up enough support to get the character his own movie.

I didn't grow up with Deadpool, but I have marvel: Ultimate Alliance and from what I've played in the game and know about Deadpool, i was utterly pissed at what they did to him. True, Deadpool's face was "all fucked up," but it wasn't because they sewed his mouth shut or cut his eyes out. I did see the movie, and it was the biggest waste of money next to Coraline.

The were rumors there was a third end credits scene that confirmed that was Deadpool. The scene began like the other Deadpool one but Ryan Reynolds appears and asks who is this.
Although the real deadpool ending did show his mouth isnt slit anymore

@coy303 he had a reason to where the suit anyway, Wade had cancer and with the GODLY healing factor he had, it spread rapidly, and scarred his body, and horribly disfigured him, which also gave him hilarious insanity, and the ability to break the fourth wall in comics, the cancer killed his brain cells rapidly, and he healed them just as fast. The movie butchered Deadpool, but my love for him shall not diminish, no matter how bad fox may fuck him up, for I am a true Deadpool fan.

Well you guys did recall that striker was told that deadpool was not ready yet, and he said he didn't care. But that could be the reason they did this. Deadpool is known by another name. MERC WITH A MOUTH. One of the reasons we all love deadpool is because he's funny. It's like ba baracus mixed with chris rock. You can't be a merc with a mouth with no mouth. I hated that Duechepool people called Ryan Raynolds becuase in the movie he never talked even with a mouth and when he did talk he was mono toned and not funny. And fucking Barakapool got me so pissed off because Deadpool never had any of that shit, but the healing factor, and fox tried to make its face look like Deadpool's mask. He was Christoph Nord, Maverick (German not Korean), but after a incident with Sabertooth, had to change his name to David North, Agent Zero... in the movies, he and Wolverine hated the shit out of each other... and in the comics, they were best friends, he wasn't a ruthless prick, he was a nice guy that just ran into some shit on the way. And being super beast with guns, wasn't even his power.

Well I loved the movie and I'm telling you buy it. It's great. But you are absolutely right that the fucked up Deadpool. But, well, he isn't very important in this movie as Deadpool. He is even never called Deadpool I think. This weapon XI is a really cool final enemy. But they really shouldn't have used Deadpool for that. Because the took him his best weapon, his mouth. well, i think i got what you meant. But, Fox's concept or not, the barakapool character as Deadpool was universal hated by the marvel fans. There were a few that liked the character, just not as Deadpool. It was despised so much that the Deadpool movie is officially going to be a reboot so they don't have to deal with it (though i bet they will make a joke about it in the movie). And yeah, his appearance was that and to hopefully drum up enough support to get the character his own movie.

I didn't grow up with Deadpool, but I have marvel: Ultimate Alliance and from what I've played in the game and know about Deadpool, i was utterly pissed at what they did to him. True, Deadpool's face was "all fucked up," but it wasn't because they sewed his mouth shut or cut his eyes out. I did see the movie, and it was the biggest waste of money next to Coraline.

In my opinion it would be interesting how they continue this Deadpool. I mean, it is just his beginning and whatnot- What i think would be funny if they DID do a Deadpool movie, is if they continue this Deadpool where he left off, Re-attaching himself, no longer under Stryker's command nor having his mouth sewn shut ( it ripped open if no one noticed ). And he looks at himself, and he realizes he looks like a ripoff of Baraka, thus making his costume and hiding his disfigurement

But his mouth is re opened, so that's good, because he is alive. The Baraka arm blades, I actually like, it just seems awesome to me.
