@rokkarokkaali I think you have to beat the elite 4 a second time. After you did the ruby and sapphire gems, then beat the Elite 4 again. If I remember correctly after you get the gems, the elite 4 are stronger then before. So you have to beat them stronger now. He will let you get Mewtwo :D

@11jerseygal You can find them anywhere, but you have to have beaten the elite four and gotten the national dex. Put a pokemon that is level 40 or below first in your party, and then spray repels then just walk around in grass, while leaving and re enterting the route frequently

@11jerseygal Because if you have a pokemon at level 40, the pokemon at level 40 will higher will still appear while you have a repel sprayed. As for if you don't have a master ball, its kinda hard to explain, i explain it in the video but if you don't have sound, just google it and you will find some strategies

@dkwon98 Well if you are looking for an immunity to roar, you still have a problem because if I remember right, both Shadow Tag and Mean Look lose their effects if you switch out the pokemon with the ability/move. So if you take out that pokemon and use a soundproof pokemon, the dog can still flee.

... I just caught Mewtwo, I tried catching it with a pokeball, that didn't work, so I threw one ultra ball, and bam. I wanted to see what the back of it looked like, so I used an escape rope, put him in my party, go to a bush, and who do I find? Raikou. That's who. No repels. Within five minutes of catching Mewtwo. What do I do now?

@MrDuckchef Well if you have a masterball, use it. If not, just run away, get prepared to catch it, then look for it again later. As long as you don't kill it, it will stay in the wild

You give awful advice in this video. If you use Mean Look or any other thing to prevent them from running, they will just use Roar and then they will be gone FOREVER just like if you killed it.

@ISteppedOnATurd Okay, first of all, if the dog uses roar, its not gone forever. And at the time I wasn't aware that they knew roar (and only two of them know it if i remember right). So the advice still applies. Never said it was easy, but use mean look and hope it doesn't run. False swipe to low hp. Put to sleep so it can't use roar. May have to find it multiple times to catch it though.

@MewTwoob You are wrong. If Roar is used, due to a glitch, the dog is gone forever. Go to Bulbapedia and search for "Roaming Roar Glitch" if you don't believe me. Entei and Raikou can both be lost permanently if they use Roar. They will usually only use Roar if they are trapped by Mean Look or one of the other trapping moves. Suicune does not know Roar so this is the only one that it is safe to use Mean Look on.

@ISteppedOnATurd Hmm. I swear they've used roar on me before and I've found them again. Maybe it was in a different game. All I can say is to save your game before encountering it. Other than that there no clear cut way to catch it without a masterball.

A few weeks ago I caught Raikou (with a pokeball!!!) and I just a had just had to tell you about it. I figured out the problem, I had to get the ruby and sapphire for him to appear. It took me such a while for me to catch it but I did and now it's traded over to my Fire Red and now I'm searching for Entei!!

The raikou used roar on me. At first I didn't mind, but now I realize it's 'area unknown' on the pokedex... Does this mean I lost it?

It used to pin point raikou's location...now it doesn't.

This can't really be prevented, even with putting it to sleep, when it wakes you have a 1/4 chance of roar, I can't be the only one this has happened to

@nintendokings I have no idea on why it isn't showing up on the pokedex, because as long as you didnt kill it, it should still be in the wild somewhere. As for your other problem, all you can do is use mean look and put it to sleep and red health and hope to catch it

Yeah I'm looking for it on Leaf Green but I just can't seem to find it like I found Suicune on Fire Red. I've been hearing some things from people saying that I have to have my starter first in my party before I can see it once but then I can't use the repel method because my Blastoise is lv63. Is this just a matter of bad luck?

@rafflecupter you dont have to have your starter, just make sure you have a pokemon level 39 or lower first in your party. other than that I have no idea why you can't find it, probably just bad luck
