And ur trying to figure out if the guy on the left is playing an electric? That guitar has an external pickup plugged into an amp with a distortion peddal. A broken peddal in which I had to hold my foot down on it just to get it to sound that way, then I would just ease off of it and it would go back to normal. But let's see you do it. Hater.

I don't give a heck about some of these comments, I cover this song too and I think this one is pretty good guys! I mean these little offtune notes and stuff make it ever nicer! As a fan of folk to blues to grunge to punk, limitations and mistakes make the song even more pure and authentic than 20 notes a second.... Keep it up and wish there were more of that kind on youtube....

@CoLaKi1992 there is no wah wah. Its all strictly slight distortion. The other guitar's sound clashing with the lead guitar, creates a mixed sound wave. It fools your ear. I did nothing super special. Just follow the distortion in the begining of the song, and make sure ur other guitar player is playing the rythem the right way and you cant go wrong. It will sound beautiful.

@slipknot666fdp Tune your guitar 1 step down. Mine was tuned 2 steps, which was why i used the capo. I also play Beatles songs and they tuned a few songs I like 2 steps down. But for most of Nirvana Nevermind and most Unplugged songs the guitar was tuned 1 step. As for the chords, I learned them on my own, including the solo. Ur best bet would be to actually watch Kurt's fingers on the Unplugged video.
