Romulan? No the Romulan diverged from the Vulcan because they didn't want to embrace logic. The Romulan are a very mercurial race unlike the Vulcan. they also no telepathic ability.

Ya know what would make it more exciting when he sits there? If the bridge and chair looked like the original.

Remember when Darth Vadar's mask is first put on him and he takes his first breath? That looked exactly like Vadar so there was excitment in the audience. But that chair ain't the correct chair. No one was really excited in the audience when I saw it.
