i've been trying to re-harmonize bossa tracks using standard jazz chords and it just didnt seem to be working but this tutorial i think will shed some light. I'll have to compare it to jobim's arrangement when i get home. But so far i've tried the first part on the guitar using the voicings i know and it sounds fine.

That's not the sheet from Tom Jobim, maybe the melody is right, but those chords are wrong. To bad i don't have a way to record myself, because i have seen a lots of videos and all of them are wrong, but this is the best version i have seen so far.

@TheTomasito1971 "those chords are wrong" The chords would be wrong if the video was entitled Girl from ipanema lesson (jobim arrangement) but its not. Reharmonisation....
