  • wow she did this without reserve... brave girl. blesses Arek

  • what a brave little cookie, so cool ,..

  • Paragliding is the OnLy way to fly.

  • Dig the epic music at the end.. hahahahahhahaha and that chick that hiked up the hill might not have been the person flying the parachute? i donno that was soo sick i want one right meow

  • what good does a climbing helmet, designed for rockfall and not impact!, do while paragliding? Afraid of stuff falling from the sky?

  • @ErwinvanderWerve Well, the wind grabbing your glider, pulling you over great distances head first, rough landings, and of course kamikaze eagles.

  • @Zaladorarch climbing helments don't work for rough landings or landing on your head.

  • @ErwinvanderWerve Yet they still work better than bare skin against rock.

  • fake commercial. Look at the place where she unpack the glide. Very little rocky space, like a mountain summit. It makes an impression she is going to launch there But the area where she actually take-off from a few seconds later is large, wide slope... I hate commercials...

  • @milanthepilot I wouldnt call this fake. For most of us it make sense to climb the peak first even if you can't start from there.

  • Why not ski down?

  • @da42170 Because that would be boring. Some people like skiing. Some people like Paragliding. Your question is like asking a skydiver like myself "Why not fly the plane down rather than jump?".

She went up there specifically to Paraglide because that is the sport she knows and loves. NOT skiing.

  • Wow, that's impressive.... I would love to see it filmed from a wingman camera (WingMan Cam dot Com).

  • I love this video...

what a great way to spend a Sunday... or any day that matter...

    hike to launch rules...

  • that looks so fuckin' fun!

  • youtube.com/watch?v=hl6YgiSF-XQ

  • @andryq2 broken link !

  • How much does this cost for an 80 kg person?

  • @35394691 It depends on many factors. Commonly license, equipment etc. runs up to $5000. Anyway paragliding remains to be cheapest way to fly.

  • How fast horizontally can para-gliders travel?

  • @themrdaydreamer with no wind, beginner wings can do min.22km/h-max.48km/h. Pro wings may be from min.24km/h up to 60km/h. If you add the wind speed to the normal gliding speed, sometimes it may exceed 100km/h compared to the ground. But a week-end pilot almost never reaches 50km/h, and still might fly 3 hours daily! :)

  • I've got a pack with a weight of over 18 kgs in early 2000s...

    Weight loss is serious. :-)

  • OMG this looks awesome!!

  • HEY FRNDS CHECK OUT MY PARAGLIDING ADVENTURE IN HIMALAYAS,INDIA-watch?v=inEbOZjCcs0

  • 50% of people who started with such things an paramotor are dead, they crashed one way or the other, leaving devastated families behind. These activities should be banned, I dont know why people disregard their own lives like that, hanging themselves from a piece of cloth that can fold in a twist smashing you against the ground headwards. I take by backpack, a nice meal and go trekking feeling the ground of my feet which is what it is supposed to be

  • @match20045 What?! Where did you get that statistic?!!! That is crazy how untrue that is. And man has always had a fascination with flight. Plus, who should tell someone that they can't do something because it may be dangerous. With hiking, you can fall and break your leg. So no hiking for you.

  • @match20045 Serious... 50%??? Are you retarded?? Get all the facts before you open your mouth next time...

  • @match20045 you must be scared of pretty much everything and everyone in life, aren't you?

the possibility to die in a car while driving it around like millions of people do every day is quite a bit bigger than to die with a paraglider or hang-glider... 50% ?! you meant 5 didn't you? even that would be A LOT.

strange thing is; you seem to like paragliding in some way (otherwise you wouldn't watch vids of it, right?) but are too scared to ever try it...?

  • The flight music...beautiful choral...at 2:09....I guarantee isn't about flying or PG or hiking....

OH, Europe, is there any hope left for you!

  • This is so cool,I wish I would join this funfull moment someday in my life.

  • what is the cost of the 19m wing? in us dollars.

  • A mountain climbers bet friend - its an achievement to reach the top, but you're only half way there... just jump off instead :-)

  • I wonder how long it lasts compared to a more standard model.

  • What paragliding I Chose? 19 or 23 mt? I'm weight naked is 67 kg. Thanks.

  • are you a paraglider Finkenstein???

  • SO WHAT'S THE LIGHTEST MOTOR TO GO WITH THAT

  • @whothehellgivesadamn Not designed for a paramotor.

  • Wow, I just came here from watching some BASE-jumping videos. This sport seems much more relaxing.

  • damn that chick is gnarly!

  • What is the catch? Is it less durable or less safe? What is it's glide ratio?

P.S. Sandie Cochepain is a great pilot , respect!

  • @mitkooo1 Glide ratio depends on what you had for lunch.

  • Glide ratio won't change with weight, only the time it takes to cover that distance.

  • @i0ughta Mathematically you are right, but the wing would have to be far more efficient than what is basically a specially shaped series of open ended string bags held together by some lines.

  • @chanctonbury63 no... it doesn't. If you are heavier you fly faster... so it's the same as long as you don't overload the wing.

  • @mitkooo1 She runs a paragliding school in Chamonix. She taught me.

  • Visit my video Skywalk that´s good you see

  • What is the point of a helmet, if you fall or crash while using one of these...you usually die.

  • @Rinocerente If you dont crash too badly you might possibly live.

  • price?

  • @idlasirt ozone.com

  • price?

  • have you or any of your friends ever been in serious accidents? what are the cahnces of a gust seriously dangering you?

  • this looks flimsy and fragile

  • Can I jump out of my apartment and land somewhere near to college with this?

  • @hosweetim89 depends - although I would not recommending jumping with a paraglider rig! It's not rated for a base jump..

  • I dont give a shit, how lite or comfortable it is. Im not jumping off a mountain unless i really have to. I would have to be chased down bye two mountain leapords to jump!!!!

  • And whatt happens if something goes wrong like a rip ??

  • @kinkabala almost every paraglider wears a back up chute atleast i do mine colapsed twice since i started the sport and i was fine both times because of my back up

  • @raretv7 thats reassuring...

  • @kinkabala kina is

  • @kinkabala You ask for your money back.

  • @kinkabala Then you have 2 smaller canopies.

  • volevo dire video molto serio e professionale.come tutti i video di volo libero,mi è piaciuto moltissimo...ciao...

  • un pò di serietà.

  • @MyGmario e perché mai?

  • Ive always wanted to do this look so much fun. ^_^

  • AWESOME

  • GO HIGHER!! :)

  • That is one cute lady.

  • Good to see how OZONE discovers the social network for there business.

  • You are truly fearless. I don't so much mean the Paragliding but more when your walking up those steep slopes. I don't want to bring you negativity, but what would happen if you slipped and rolled out of control. These camera angles make it seem like it's a long way down. I wish you luck in your adventures. God be with you.

  • 2.85 including the harness/pack? What's the weight on the 25? I can't tell much benefit over a Gin Yetti I bought 5 years ago.

This product has a fair bit of competition. What sets it apart is what I would really like to know.

  • I am wondering what the differences are between this and a parachute can someone tell me?

  • Theres a huge difference! Parachutes only reduce your vertical speed of a fall and let you land safely. Paragliders are ultralight aircrafts; you´re able to take off, fly and land. You can climb heights of thousands of meters above your take off site and travel even up to hundreds of kilometers away (World record is more than 500 Kms.).

By the way, we all paraglider pilots carry always an emergency parachute on our harnesses.

  • Thank you for explaining that to me. Now my question is that does a larger paraglider help you go farther or is the glider ib this video only for short distances?

  • The size of a paraglider is determined by you weight, speed and best glide is determinate mostly by the wing rating since there´s beginners certificated paragliders all the way up to high performance competition paragliders. All modern paragliders are able to fly really long distance though, just slower than high class ones.

  • @Finkenstein im only a teenager and i only weigh 75 pounds. do you think i could paraglide alone?

  • @emlmm88 Yes

  • @emlmm88 Sure! :)

  • @Finkenstein I dont know.. I would love to do this but I already lost 1 sense have 2 bad ones and cant walk.. do you think doing this would finish the job ?

  • @Finkenstein Theres a huge similarity. All ram air canopies are related by the fact that they are essentially inflatable wings.

Parachutes do not only reduce your vertical speed and let you land safely. When they were round thats what they did. You should spend some time on some of the skydiving/swooping youtube sections. All that has happened is the same basic principle of the ram air canopy has been adapted for different purposes, such as paragliding, skydive, groundlaunching, paramotor.

  • @bskalak22 But the wing on video is 19mt?

  • @bskalak22 con uno caes despacio , con este vuelas..

  • Are you allowed to paraglide over cities?

  • I say yes!

  • @haveapooo who cares do it anyway lol

  • @haveapooo: u have to keep several different heights above things, so maby, unless there is no airport nerarby

  • looks like some decent exposure @ 0.53 , that's hot !

  • She is sooo cool.Uber renaissance woman. This ad,the glider, the music its all pure heavenly.

  • Hiking up a mountain with a 20kg backpack is half the fun!

  • is 2.8kg not 20kg

  • I want to have sex with a french woman at some point in my life.........and be talked to like that.....

  • Well you might get lucky lol.... visit Quebec Canada or France lol you'll find someone there....

  • during Paragliding

  • Exactly. Well said.

  • @TheProphiting1 Not that one, her second name is Cochepain (Cock of pain)

  • @TheProphiting1 I have when I went to France. It wasn't any more special than women from any other country.

  • Hermoso.

    Beautiful.

  • Awesome video! I would love to hang out with that chick sometime :)

  • 20090731, Friday, 15:18:75 -35750702 (Z, N, WM, SL, DANAYA + A Less EC - KK7/WA132>

  • i belive i can fly!!~

  • this is the shit every body should try it its not even scary

  • Ice pick in the back of the harness!

  • I've always wanted to try paragliding but I'm too afraid to ;_;

  • im 14 and ive tryed pargliding already :)

  • wow i didnt know that sport before...and its such a cheap and cool way to fly o.o

  • that's a hell of a swing!!

  • wimpy wimpy wimpy!

  • AMAZIZING!!

  • how far can you go on a paraglider?

  • World record, 502 Kms.!!!

  • Hows that posible?

Comercial air planes travel at 21kms, how can a non-engine powered vehicle reach that high, specially on cloth that will freeze on low temperatures and pilot with only self-carried oxigen tanks.

    Any link to the story?

  • "How far can you go?" =DISTANCE not ALTITUDE. And the world record DISTANCE (not sure if it's ratified) was a flight of over 500 kilometres.

The cloth will not "freeze on low temperatures" because you never get that high. As for oxygen, some pilots do carry it if they deliberately intend to go ridiculously high, but most pilots never bother because you don't need to go that high to go far. You could glide for over 400 km without ever climbing past, say, 7000 feet.

  • haha! now you thought u were smart, HUH!??! but you missunderstood pretty mutch!

  • Google World Record broken - 502km in SA by Nevil Hulett

  • @TheSilentwarrior99 The cloth has no water in it so how can it freeze? A balloon might reach 21km??

  • Why didn't you fly up?

  • Lol this one doesnt have power

  • I know but you could have caught a thermal just by walking up 200 to 300 meters. The airs cold and the rocks will be heating up with the sun.

  • Ahh I see ;) sorry =]

  • catching thermals is not that easy. the fact that rocks might be warm does not mean that the thermals will be strong enough to create lift. also, a thermal band can be very small and hard to catch or stay inside. and in the Alps, thermals can be so strong that you are glad NOT to catch one.

  • At which price is it available? And how do you pay for such low weights? With less life time for the wing?

  • BRAVO!!this add is pure inspiration. This is humankind at our finest.Yesss!!!

  • And french.Woohoo!!

  • She has a nice arse. :D

  • In the words of so many before me...WHAT IS THE NAME OF THAT SONG AT THE END!!!??? Really very fitting and wonderful for the sensation of flying. What was it?

  • Sounds like Bach. Beyond that I can't help you.

  • netter Werbefilm ^^

  • Funny how light weights seem so appealing after you've been walking up the hill at the weekend carrying 15 plus kilo.

  • beautiful..

  • I just looove her... I wanna marry Sandie!!! Pleae fly with me :)

  • Nice glider, but definitely not the lightest one. The Airwave Himalaya weights under 2 kg and is still a normal sized one (more than 20 m2).

  • ..but Dudek also make covers for Skoda!!!

    Ultralite is the BIZ:-)

  • I don't know about nothing about this glider, but I have watched very experienced pilot try to launch Dudek mountain wing and he was having difficulties.

  • Thats not bad at all! Would like to know durability differences in contrast to a "normal" kit...

  • This is not the Lightest Paraglider!! 5years ago Danilo Struck have build a smal wing with ca 10²m.

    77KMH TopSpeed
