@027220 yeah it should have been, but Trevor was the only person who saw it happen and he was afraid of those kids. Let's say he told someone, the kid was able to hide the knife and nothing could be proved which meant that the kid didn't get into trouble. Then Trevor would have been suspected of lying and the kid would have beat his ass for trying to rat him out. That's the way kids think which is why bullies don't get reported very often and stuff like that gets over looked :/

seriously, Spacey's facial make-up sucks! Acting, excellent! Body (during the love scene was impressive), but I remember first seeing this and I didn't even know anything was wrong with the guy till one of the characters said it. Certainly not enough to make all the students silent, they probably couldn't see it from that distance. The director said she wanted an "OMG" reaction, but she sure settled for less. in the book, he was missing and eye and skin was all over the place. Good film though.
