Most or all cars today that can do such crazy top speeds are either supercharged or turbocharged...some with both. This car does it without automotive steroids. This is what people don't appreciate. Average car fans don't look at these details. I don't think any modern car offers the sensation this car does. I can tell all this and I havn't even seen one in person.

The F1 never really impressed me since it was released. Porsche could have easily done it ages ago but they were very sensible.For me the Porsche Carrera GT is an engineering perfection.

Engine wise no, you can't produce that type of Natural aspirated engine any more thanks to environment laws, witch is very sad cause I would love to see something new, and hear that amazing sound an natural aspirated v12 produces, nothing comes close.
If you want a car to drive every day than for sure the BMW v12 is the better choice, but if you want too have a F1 experience i would take the 2.8L Twin turbo v8 with 700 hp at 12 000 rpm anyday

i think the Mclaren F1 is the best car in the world. why? because it is a non-assisted vehicle (no turbo or super-charger). the bugatti veyron, and all the other cars that claim to be faster, is a V-16 or v-12 with 2 or 4 turbos and they can only go 5-20 m/h faster than the F1. if ron dennis was to put a turbo or 2 into the F1, then the F1 would own any car. this is my opinion.

The Veyron has a bigger engine, 4 huge turbos, 14 years newer technology and it only goes 11mph quicker. The Veyron is faster but the whole McLaren package is better, especially on the track. The McLaren is the best bar far.

The car in this video is not a GTR. It's a standard road car (chassis #020) that has been fitted with the High Downforce Kit, commonly referred to as the LM Kit. There are nearly a dozen F1 road cars that have had these parts added on.
it is not really a supercar. It weighs 4200 pounds. "the mclaren F1 only weighs around 2700. It is almost as fast and handles a lot better. you know that mclaren out does bugati in every suspect. the engine bay is GOLD.
Bugati had to use two W8's and four turbos to get 1001 horse power. If you put a turbo or supercharger on the mclaren you'll have around 800hp. and the mclaren was designed based on the mclaren race cars. BOOYAA

they sell these motors in England and in USA by a company named heartly enterprises.

I think there are even today only the Koenigsegg CCX or the Ascari A10 which are quite as good as the F1....the Bugatti is way to haevy

The chassis number of my F1 is 006 the sixth one made. One of 64.
I bought it second-hand and it cost me £650,000 or around $1,200,000.

That engine is from the BMW 850CSI or "M8" and that mclaren f1 is a gtr. you can tell by the spoiler and body kit.
