I always wondered, why not heat the neck, expand it, let it cool down, place the ship in then re-heat and shrink it back. Probably very risky as you might just burn everything (but possible to avoid that altogether with some simple chemical tricks)

Still, you will be able to fit a ship in a bottle that has a neck too small for its body to squeeze in.

I recently had a failure because I made my epoxy "ocean" too thick. When I popped the masts, I was lacking about an eighth of an inch. Moving on :) thanks for this video!!! Gonna start a new one tomorrow.

some people actually build the ships while it's inside the bottle, making the ships alot bigger and wider than the opening hole of the bottle.
