Use smaller PVC pipe to start with. Just wider than the tea candle, but will still fit in the jar. And keep the height lower than the jar. Cover the PVC with hot glue sitting on a table with wax paper underneath. Once cool, place in jar. You may need to add some more hot glue to bottom off PVC to stick it to the jar bottom. Good luck!
They look great I think I am going to have to make some! Any tips or tricks to help me as make some in a mason jar cause I think that could look cool!
I wouldn't recommend that. The hot melted wax from the real candle would melt the Styrofoam inside. I suppose if you sealed off the PVC end and filled it with sand and make sure the real flame didn't touch the sides it would be possible... but still risky.
