For instance, LA Noire, GTA IV, Red Dead Redemption... and then the games that aren't available on a PC like Final Fantasy XIII, Disgaea 3, God of War 3, Star Ocean, etc etc. I've always been a huge fan of the PC and when Diablo 3 comes out my PS3 will collect dust for a while, but... consoles are great as well. =P They're just different.

@MrMoo7 You can't change the leaderboard without hacking the server Einstein. It's like modding World of Warcraft's interface to give your character full epics. It just doesn't work that way. You can do some things locally. Speed hacks, bot programs, invincibility (depending on the game), etc. Hacking the leaderboard though? No, you have to get on the server to hack that. You can't physically change the database unless you're actually on the server with admin rights over it.

All it takes is to mod a lobby, change the kill score ratio and that's it. One kill = 1million kills. That's how people do it. They don't directly hack a server to edit who's on the list, that's way too much work for something so simple. And the reason it never changes? Game companies dont give a fuck. Game's out and sold, they could give two shits.

It's called error correction and either Infinity Ward has the most fail online security ever conceived or it's not as easy as you're suggesting.
People use a local hack that's already been written that allows them to edit the database through a glitch. It's not as easy as you suggest.

An exploit was present that allowed for user passwords to be changed as long as the original email address was known. This isn't at all surprising since you can have up to 5 devices hooked up to each email address over the PSN. What's surpising isn't that it was possible. What's surprising is that someone's actually bored enough to manually change accounts. I can use PSN
Ha also if you don't know this yet the Xbox pad is ergonomically designed to fit a players hands better (what with the button and stick layout being off level) than a PS3 controller. You can do some things locally. Speed hacks, bot programs, invincibility (depending on the game), etc. Hacking the leaderboard though? No, you have to get on the server to hack that. You can't physically change the database unless you're actually on the server with admin rights over it.

All it takes is to mod a lobby, change the kill score ratio and that's it. One kill = 1million kills. That's how people do it. They don't directly hack a server to edit who's on the list, that's way too much work for something so simple. And the reason it never changes? Game companies dont give a fuck. Game's out and sold, they could give two shits.

It's called error correction and either Infinity Ward has the most fail online security ever conceived or it's not as easy as you're suggesting.
People use a local hack that's already been written that allows them to edit the database through a glitch. It's not as easy as you suggest.

An exploit was present that allowed for user passwords to be changed as long as the original email address was known. This isn't at all surprising since you can have up to 5 devices hooked up to each email address over the PSN. What's surpising isn't that it was possible. Ha also if you don't know this yet the Xbox pad is ergonomically designed to fit a players hands better (what with the button and stick layout being off level) than a PS3 controller.
