Interesting fact: Edge sometimes uses a Line 6 hollowbody for this song. Not sure if that's what he used on the studio version, but if you look up "U2's The Edge demonstrating his guitar rig (2/2)" on YouTube, you'll see him demonstrating it at the very end of the clip.

I usually don't like cover versions, most of them only show that having the right gear isn't as important as knowing how to use it, not to mention to fit the play right to the feeling of the song, not missing important details etc.

What you've done is amazing, accurate to the song, detailed and sufficiently inventive. As someone said, Edge would be really proud:).

Amazing job.

I find the solo problematic though:

1) Notice how even though the tune is rocking fast and Edge's solo is fairly fast paced, he's got all the time in the world laying it out? He' s way behind the beat. "In the pocket" and grooving . That solo should really be thought about as in super slow motion. When the Edge plays it in concert sometimes he's even slower.

2) "The feeling" should be like an epiphany. The feel of that whole solo is all lift. Lift, and lift and lift...
