  • Mr. Iococca, as always, has his head in the right direction and has a crystal clear vision of what needs to be done.

  • Bob Nardelli is the biggest piece of shit that has walked the face of this planet.

He fucked Home Depot, then he fucked Chrysler, then he fucked the American People.

He should be Bernie Madhoff's bitch in prison.

  • What a horrible show of appreciation, a new Chrysler would have said more then a glass object.

  • This is hilarious... Lee Iacocca who made Chrysler great sitting next to Bob Nardelli who tried to destroy Chrysler for financial gain.

  • not many people can say they saved a major american company but lee can.... a great american in many ways, thanks for everything mr iaccocca...he was looked down upon because he was a italian at Ford but men like him made america a superpower

  • 2 PEOPLE DISLIKE THIS VIDEO - THEY CAME FROM FORD OF COURSE

  • The product, with the exception of the new Ram Truck, is just awful right now. It's hard to believe the same company that builds that truck builds Sebring/Avenger/Caliber/Compass/Patriot/Liberty.

  • Bob Nardelli is such a fuckin tit. Shouldn't even be in the same room as Lee.

  • Bob Nardelli is such a fuckin tit. Shouldn't even be in the same room as Lee.

  • I'm from India and my cousin passed me Lee Iacocca's autobiography, which had been given to him by his dad who bought it back in the 80s.

I must say I've never been so gripped reading a business memoir as I'd been reading about this legendary CEO of the Chrysler Corp.

That one book showed me how exciting the inner dynamics of a major corporation is and the business world in general.

To turn around a company from its catastrophic position, facing all those obstacles!

    Wow! What a MAN!

  • @imster

I'm from Italy, I also read his book and I think exactly as you write. 110% agree

  • We all know American cars are a piece of shit!! Same as they people incest inbreed of scums!!!

  • Are you sure you aren't one of them with such grammar skills?

  • hhhmmm...?? well ask your mom that..? or your sis what ever....!!!

  • I agree come back to Auburn Hills Lee.

  • How is president Obama helping the big three when we trade in trucks minivans and suv's on the cash for clunkers deal for a import because people have the perception that only Japan or Keorea can build efficent vechiles when in fact both Ford and Gm do have efficent vehicles as well? That is the problem Chrysler has they don't have any small cars right now and that is there managment mistake.

  • at least he had the balls to set the japanese on their asses

  • my god this man was a genius , why dont we put him back into chrysler? and run the country at the same time , i could see great results from it

  • Come back to Michigan, Lee. Chrysler is dying and it needs you.

  • i agree... I'm someone who lives in Detroit and maybe you are too or Michigan. But we are suffering a great deal right now. I believe that Pres. Obama is doing a good job so far trying to save the Big three, but with some insight to someone who saved Chrysler in the '80s, will do us all good.

  • yeah by destroying perfectly good cars and trucks

  • I've got two cars of his era, great vehicles! Still going strong after all those years and they look like new.

  • Lee, the american auto industry needs your help!

  • What motivated him was seeing Henry Ford II eat crow for firing him. They made some nice cars during his era. The Omni & Horizon were good economy cars, worst thing he did was the 1989 Imperial which was nothing but a K car on steriods.

  • Love to have worked for this guy in the 60's

  • The Father of the K-car

  • i'll always remember him as the guy who never read a book in his life

  • lee iacocca is the best person ever

  • Enjoy selling Fiats LOL

  • You guys do realize that Iacocca was president of ford in 1970 and he was told about the pinto problem and signed off on ignoring it. He's a good salesman he's not very moral

  • Comment removed

  • @Lumotaku Please, ford has always been pathetic and always will be.

  • @SuperiorChrysler8 Is that why Ford is the only American car company that did NOT take a bailout from the Government....NO I DIDN'T THINK SO!!!!!!!!! Maybe if we had a TRUE American business man like Lee A. Iacocca running the ship at both Chrysler again as well as GM, things would be completely different.....FORD FUCKING RULES AT THIS POINT!!!!

  • @landyachtfan79 If you think ford rules at this point, try shock therapy, they remain as some of the worst vehicles on the road today. Try looking at the escapes, many around, plagued with electrical problems - they have become a joke !

Unfortunatley, ford will never rule, we just have too many fools around buying them because they have no mind of their own, only the lying media.

  • @landyachtfan79 just because Ford didnt get bailout from the government doesnt mean that their good. Ford has more debt than cash and in my opinino they didnt seek bailout because it would ruin the American auto industry and it wouldn't capture the market share. Ford will be shit and it will always be behind japanese auto industry.

  • What a wonderful man! I have always admired and his respected his business ethics and his quick wit, and supreme intelligence. Great to see him given this award. He truly earned it.

  • LEE, MAKE CHRYSLER GREAT AGAIN!

  • to be at a repair shop alot b/c you own a chrysler!

  • Why doesn't Lee run for president? Or why isn't he the CEO of Chrysler again? They BOTH need him bad!

  • I'm from Phil. I don't have a car, never had. When i read a condesed version of Mr. Iacocca's biography years ago I become an admirer from afar. Right now I am reading again his autobiography and I am still so in awe of his brilliance. His my idol.

  • Mr Iacocca, is by far my best CEO even if i only got to work around him when he was in his last two years at Chrysler corp, when he talks people listen to what he has to say. He does not waste his time talking for nothing. I really enjoyed his new book. Someone like him is what all the big three needs. He came out with the mustang while he was at Ford, the funky, but stone cold reliable K cars, the minivan, and my favorite, the Viper! And there was a lot more i can not think of!

  • He would have made a GREAT president. Read his great new book..."Where Have All The Leaders Gone?"

  • I love lee. He is the best business man ever.

  • I say, he takes over Chrysler right now, and bring in some super duper exotic sports car with 3 rows of seats and a truck bed and 8000000 pounds of towing capacity.

  • He is great. You never know why he is so great, unless you know it all...

    Read Wikipedia.

  • Or you could read one of his books....

  • Not a fan of books. lol

  • Amazing! ¡Viva Lee! Thank you for this video, Lee A. Iacocca is the true spirit of Chrysler.

    Thanks!

  • does the cryshler-dodge-jeep group corporation bought buy the korean kia-hyundai group??????????please reply.

  • No, Daimler-Benz sold them to Cerberus, a private American investment company.

  • No Way!!! Chrysler group is doing better than GM right now and has matched Toyota for production time and quality, kia and hyundai have no chance of owning chrysler

  • A lot of companies run on 'crisis management'.

  • LOOLOL
