Actually, Mr. Armstrong doesn't. He does a lot of public appearances. What he doesn't do is a lot of one-on-one interviews and he has refused to cash-in on his career.

But a lot of people would tune if he decided, all of a sudden, that he wouldn't mind appearing on Leno or Letterman maybe once, erm .. in a blue moon.

I read in "Space" that the reason he was chosen to be the first to walk on the moon instead of Boxing "Buzz" ALdrin, was his humility. And considering how tempting it would be, I think he shows a lot of integraty for not doing so.

First thing I would liek to say is, I love Wallace and Gromit, they are by far the funniest things ever sculpted out of clay. The world is better off for them. I'm happy to oblige. I used to worship the moon landing as one of mans greatest achievments and thought the people who detracted from it were just jealous nuts or misguided. That was untill someone challanged me to quit acting like a religious freak and more like a scientist, to prove my thoughts rather than simply have 'faith'. Hmmm...interesting, seeminly inexplicable. And yet, there are many possible explanations. He hit it with his elbow going past, static electrical attraction, maybe even his PLSS out-gassing. There are lots of explanations, only one of them requiring it to be fake. ALso have you seen the video of the 16mm shot taken from the LM throught the entire mission? Except when the flag is touchd by the astronauts it doesn't move, despite a lot of prancing around by the astronauts.

Me too. Do you remember that TV set. That piece of junk that was 'State of the art" before the word Hi-Tech had been thought of. Think back. In 1969 there's no way anybody had the technology to go to the moon and back. It was believeable then, maybe up until 1995, but now I feel cheated and hoaxed. NASA didn't go to the Moon, they barely got into orbit with that thing. I did believe, not anymore.

Great. And to the joaxers, the Russians would have spotted a hoax at once, superb propaganda material. They gave up when they lost the race, but sendt up a remote-controlled "car" instead. And why fake it to the Moon nine times, with six landings, and one close to disaster?

you can do this, radio direction detection, but since the space craft was headed to where the moon was going to be the signal always was coming from the moon direction. and how convenient it is the the Moon itself is a radio reflection satellite. did you know we spyed on the russians using the moon as a orbiting

@peterm3964`My grandgrand-mother saw the moonlanding at tv 02:00 at night. born in 1893, she had seen the car come to norway, the massproduction, ww1 and ww2, the computer come to life.. She was shaking her head while looking at the moonlanding that night. I guess that old lady understood more than anyone else, having the experience and not taking all "younger" have for granted.

Also...if your truely intersted in the truth then you must make a substantial effort to sift through fact from fiction, establish the nature of the moon and space travel, the obsticles etc. and then compare with what NASA purports to be actual moon footage. You will get frustrated but in the end if you use logic and are rigorous in your research you will come to the same conclusion that I and many others have. You will then wonder why supposed smart educated people are so obviously gullible.
