If your cats ever hiss at you, it's not playing, they're telling you to back off. I'm afraid you're causing a lot of distress in your cats if you mess with them like that often.

The only time when they attack is when they attack other cats, the would moun and hiss as a fight stance they never do that to me, they hiss at me once then start licking my hand they would even put my finger in there mouth but they would never bite me. The only time when a cat will attack you if it dose not know you i know that because i use to live around stray cats, about 7 years ago.

I did not say your cats hated you, I said hissing means they want you to back off. A cat does not only attack when they don't know you, I do not know where you learned this or who told you that. My friend had a cat who had been raised by her and she is the sweetest most caring person, has had other cats that turned out lovely, but this one cat would hiss and scratch at you, sometimes attack you viciously even while you were minding your own business. It would only come up to you and rub against you when it wanted food otherwise it wanted to be left alone.

I'd say, if this were still an issue, or with anyones cat..associate petting with something they like. Maybe a tastey treat. offer it with one hand and pet with the other. Tune would work great. It won't happen right away, but every time you offer the treat..and I would say several times a day...let them smell it in one hand and pet with the other. Eventually they won't care about the petting when there is treats involved!

If the ears are pointed forwards, the cat is being offensive as if it were saying "Back the fuck off, or I'll mess you up!" And the cat was annoyed, it was hot outside and he was on the edge of a window, it wouldn't have wanted to be petted. :)
